About this experience

Biosphere Expeditions has been running non-profit citizen science expeditions for 25 years. They operate across six continents, partnering with local conservation scientists who design the research protocols. Participants don't need prior experience — they receive field training and work as genuine research assistants. All data is published in annual reports and submitted to relevant conservation bodies. The organization reinvests over 70% of expedition income into its conservation programs, and pays its local scientific partners and guides competitive rates.
